About the owner
Marsha Elliott began her accounting career in an international firm in Portland, Oregon and has over 10 years of experience as a tax and accounting manager for a large local firm. In addition, her professional experience includes management of the accounting general ledger system for a Fortune 500 company located in the Pacific Northwest. Ms. Elliott’s primary industry experiences have been with manufacturing, healthcare, multi-employer trusts, nonprofit entities, wholesalers, telecommunications, financial institutions, and tourism industries. Her past project experiences include new entity structuring, month-end closings, report writing, and end-user training of reporting systems for general ledger systems. Ms. Elliott has extensive experience working with start-up companies and has led client efforts in the areas of debt financing, financial information systems, and internal control standards.
Ms. Elliott is very active in community organizations. She has held board positions with the National Association of Accountants, Institute of Managerial and Professional Women, Foundation for Women Owned Businesses and Portland Youth for Christ. Ms. Elliott has been a volunteer speaker for the Young Parent Opportunity Program at Clackamas Community College, Small Business Development Center, Small Business Administration, and local chambers of commerce. Ms. Elliott has been involved as a counselor for the Small Business Administration intermediary program for minority and women owned business pre-qualification loan programs.
Ms. Elliott holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration from Portland State University and a Masters in Taxation from Portland State University, where she graduated Magna Cum Laude. Ms. Elliott lives with her husband in Tigard, Oregon.
